In just two days, two isolated classes and the number of infected last week has already been exceeded. The new cases from yesterday, added to the eight on Monday, bring the weekly total to 17, one more than that registered in the period from September 14 to 20.
But to the total we must add another positive, it is a minor student of the Lolli Ghetti economic technical institute of Ferentino as well as a footballer of Frosinone Primavera. Not being a resident of the province, the news was communicated to the Frosinone ASL by a Roman ASL.

Class IV the boy is attending has been isolated and his classmates and teachers will already be cleaning up. The epidemiological investigation was extended to sports contacts: a swab for colleagues and for the contacts he had at the Casamari boarding school where the young man sleeps. Football Frosinone in a press release informs the “Precautionary suspension of youth training activities” up to the buffer output (see another service on page 38). Today he will miss the Tim Cup Primavera match which, again in Ferentino, would have seen Frosinone challenge Salernitana. The player, like the other positives yesterday, is asymptomatic. The mayor of Ferentino Antonio Pompeo says: «The planned protocols have been activated. We will closely monitor developments and guarantee all the necessary measures for the safety of our children.

The situation
Instead, there are nine new Covid-19 positives certified by Frosinone ASL. More than half belong to a family group of five people made up of a 68-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman, a 38-year-old man, a 67-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl. The other cases involve a 66-year-old man. from Arpino, a 51-year-old woman from Colfelice, a 37-year-old man from Ausonia and a 16-year-old girl from Cassino. Obviously, for all situations, the investigations began with the search for any contact to take samples and isolate them to avoid further spread of the infection. On Monday, about 430 swabs were performed on the different structures of the Frosinone ASL. The swabs made in Ceprano for the connection with the child in kindergarten were positive and are all negative.

The tendency
Seventeen infected in two days is the maximum of the twenty-three counted on September 12 and 13 (three and twenty) and the eighteen on September 6 and 7 (twelve and six). The week starts with an average of 8.5 cases per day. The figure differs from the previous one in which there was a decrease in infections at four weeks with figures of some importance (41, then 100, then 44 and finally 39). The average of the past week was 2.28 against 5.57 of the immediately previous week, 6.28 in the period August 31-September 6, 14.28 between August 24 and 30 and 5.85 the day August 17 -23.
This is the hottest part of the summer. Filed in March and April, infections since May had dropped exponentially to zero, a number that recurs often in the months of May, June and July. Then there were vacations, outings to tourist destinations, a certain relaxation in the mistaken belief that it was all over with the consequent lowering of guards.

And the results are visible to all with the long lines at the drive-ins in Frosinone and Cassino to the point of making it necessary to establish a point in Sora and the many positive, although asymptomatic, return from Sardinia, Puglia, Emilia. Romagna, Spain, Malta, France, Albania, Greece, Kosovo and Romania.
This has caused the cases to reappear from the second half of August, although with the advantage that most of the positives are asymptomatic and do not require hospital care as happened last winter. And this is also demonstrated by the fact that the Covid departments installed in full emergency at the Spaziani hospital in Frosinone, as the situation improved, were dismantled with the consequent transfer to Rome of the very few Covid patients who required medical assistance.

The number of people in home isolation and in fiduciary isolation also skyrocketed. A figure that in light of the last two days, is likely to regain altitude after a significant decline in recent days.
As of September, there have been 114 cases in 22 days, or 5.18 per day. Before this week, September was at 4.85.
