New cases of covid in Puglia are on the rise again: according to the regional bulletin of December 11, 1813 more positives were registered compared to the 11223 tests carried out. There are 667 new cases in the province of Bari, 215 in the province of Brindisi, 332 in the province of BAT, 258 in the province of Foggia, 103 in the province of Lecce, 219 in the province of Taranto, 7 residents outside the region, 12 cases of unknown residence.
34 deaths were recorded: 12 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 9 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Lecce, 10 in the province of Taranto. 878,289 tests have been carried out since the start of the emergency. To date, 18,460 patients have been cured. The number of hospitalized patients continues to decline, today in 1782 (18 less than yesterday) and 49,991 are positive cases today.
The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 70,319, divided as follows: 26,917 in the province of Bari, 8,111 in Bat, 5,271 in the province of Brindisi, 15,767 in the province of Foggia, 5,421 in the province of Lecce, 8,352 in the province of Taranto, 435 attributed to residents outside the region, 45 province of unknown residence.
