“At least 17 states have joined Texas in the extraordinary case against the largest voter fraud in the history of the United States. Thank you!” Donald Trump, with a tweet opened by an enthusiastic “Wow!”, Makes it known that other states – at least 17, he says – have joined the case that Texas wants to take before the Supreme Court. Twitter, as is now customary for messages from the president, marks the information as unverified.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced that he has filed lawsuits against four states – Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin – in the United States Supreme Court in connection with alleged voter fraud. Paxton argued in his complaint that “the changes in the electoral procedures in these states, linked to the Covid, violated federal law” and therefore asked the Supreme Court to block the votes of the polling stations in these four states, thus postponing the El Biden’s official appointment as president is expected on December 14.
Trump’s announcement is just the latest in a series of election-related tweets. “If someone had cheated in the elections, which the Democrats did, why weren’t the elections immediately overturned? How is it possible for a country to run like this?” The president wrote. “We will soon hear about the word courage and saving our country. I received hundreds of thousands more votes than my opponent in all key states. All data collected after the vote says it was impossible for me to lose except in one rigged election.” .
