151 new positives and 5 more hospitalizations

A record spike, sadly negative, on the coronavirus front in Umbria. In fact, in today’s bulletin (Friday, October 9), 151 new cases of coronavirus are registered, with 2,645 swabs made in the last hours (with a total amounting to 223,791), and 5 more hospitalized in the ‘Hospital Covid de la Region’. The data was released during the press conference in the Region to take stock of the health emergency. With this new ‘increase’ in infections, 3,057 people have been infected with Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, while now there are 1,005 (+137 compared to yesterday) currently positive.

This is because the number of people cured increases to 1,965 (+14), while there are 5 clinically recovered and 87 deaths in total since the beginning of the pandemic (the last one a 92 year old from Assisi). The total number of people in contumacial isolation is also growing, which now stands at 942 (+132), while in the ‘Covid Hospitals’ of Umbria the total number of hospitalized patients amounts to 63 (+5) (still 8 instead of those in intensive care).
