A dangerous block for the normal transit of depressive figures of Atlantic origin could intervene in the first days of October in the Mediterranean basin.

This situation could also foreshadow the formation of dangerous sea storms sustained by the ascending branch of the jet stream: therefore, the phenomena could remain even for many hours in the same areas foreshadowing potentially alluvial scenarios.
This is evident from the impressive sequence of the synoptic maps provided respectively by the mean of the scenarios of Friday 2, Saturday 3, Sunday 4 and Monday 5 October:
There is certainly a significant thermal rise in the southern regions and in part of the center, but precisely this contribution of quite warm but humid air, in contact with the coldest of Atlantic origin, could originate convective systems of not negligible importance.
SUMMARY of forecasts from Friday 2 to Thursday 8 October:
– the first days of the month, at least until Monday 5 October, will probably be characterized by frequent rains in the north, even with a background of thunderstorms on the coasts, thunderstorms also on the coasts of the Middle and Upper Tyrrhenian and perhaps in Sardinia, a better and decidedly temperate climate in the rest of the country, especially in the south.
– Later possible variable phase in the north and in the center, still with some phenomena, but to be verified. The climate remains relatively mild, especially in the south.
