There are 1,458 new coronavirus infections in Italy. This was revealed by the Civil Protection bulletin today, September 13, 2020. Lombardy, 265 positives
Out of 12,844 swabs made in Lombardy today, 265 new positive cases are recorded, while the number of deaths is increasing, 3 today and none were recorded yesterday. Admissions to intensive care increased by one unit, for a total of 28 occupied places, as well as those for covid (+1) for a total of 252 hospitalized people. This is what emerges from the daily press release released today by the Region that shows that the units cured / discharged have increased by 40 units.

Puglia, infections increase: 83 since yesterday
The infection curve for Covid-19 increases slightly today in Puglia: 83 compared to 76 yesterday, in the presence of a marked decrease in the number of tests, today 2,955 while yesterday there were 3,764. Fortunately, there were no deaths as in three days ago. We read this in the daily epidemiological bulletin released by the Region, based on information from the director of the Department of Health Promotion, Vito Montanaro. Of the 83 new positive cases, 56 refer to the province of Bari, 3 to the province of Bat, 2 to the province of Brindisi, 14 to the province of Foggia, 6 to the province of Lecce, 3 to the province of Taranto . In total, 570 deaths remain. Since the beginning of the emergency, 349,719 tests have been carried out. 4,201 patients recovered (+3 compared to yesterday) and 1,678 currently positive cases (+79), of which 204 were hospitalized (+7) and 1,474 at home (+72). Of those currently positive, 0.5% are hospitalized in intensive care and 11.6% in other wards. The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 6,449, divided as follows: 2,439 in the province of Bari; 518 in the province of Bat; 741 in the province of Brindisi; 1,523 in the province of Foggia; 722 in the province of Lecce; 453 in the province of Taranto; 52 attributed to residents outside the region; 1 province of unknown residence (one case was removed from the database). Asl’s prevention departments have activated all procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.

Sardinia, 33 new cases
In Sardinia, a total of 2,874 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 33 new cases were registered, 21 detected through screening activities and 12 due to suspected diagnosis. The number of victims remains unchanged at 140. In total, 158,080 swabs were performed, an increase of 1,252 tests compared to the last update. Instead, 80 patients are hospitalized (+18 compared to yesterday’s figure), while the number of patients (14) currently in intensive care has not changed. There are 1,310 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 1,323 (+8) recovered patients, plus another 7 clinically recovered. In the territory, of the 2,874 positive cases verified in total, 478 (+5) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 288 in southern Sardinia, 150 in Oristano, 250 (+8) in Nuoro, 1,708 (+20 ) in Sassari.

Tuscany, 91 new cases
In Tuscany there are 13,114 cases of coronavirus positivity, 91 more than yesterday (17 identified in the course of screening and 74 from detection activities). New cases are 0.7% more than the total of the previous day. Those cured grew by 0.3% and reached 9,506 (72.5% of all cases). The tests carried out reached 630,201, 6,737 more than yesterday. The positives are currently 2,459 today, + 2.4% compared to yesterday. There are 97 hospitalized (5 more than yesterday), of which 17 in intensive care (1 less). Unfortunately, today there is 1 new death: an 86-year-old woman. These are the data – verified at 12 noon today based on requests from the National Civil Protection – relative to the advance of the epidemic in the region. The average age of 91 cases today is 44 years (20% are under 26, 29% between 26 and 40, 32% between 41 and 65, 19% are over 65) and As for the states 79% were asymptomatic, 13% pauci-symptomatic.
