The new year begins with 1,395 Covid cases in Puglia, out of the 7045 tests carried out: once again, the majority of cases are registered in the Bari area (564). In the rest of the provinces, we found 155 cases in Brindisi, 93 in Bat, 325 in the province of Foggia, 80 in the province of Lecce, 172 in the province of Taranto, 3 residents outside the region, 3 cases of province of residence unknown.
In the first bulletin of 2021, nine deaths were recorded: 1 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Lecce, 6 in the province of Taranto.
35,965 patients were recovered, compared to 35,490 yesterday, and 53,913 currently positive (53,002 in the last bulletin). There are 1613 patients, which continue to decline (6 less than yesterday).
The total of positive cases of Covid in Puglia is 92,359, divided as follows:
35,691 in the province of Bari;
10,593 in the province of Bat;
6,656 in the province of Brindisi;
20,341 in the province of Foggia;
7,170 in the province of Lecce;
11,287 in the province of Taranto;
521 attributed to residents outside the region;
100 province of unknown residence.
