The Prevention Department has intensified the follow-up of close contacts. This activity stood out in general 167 contacts: 38 for the cases detected in the province of Siena, 113 for those detected in the province of Arezzo and 16 for the cases in the province of Grosseto. All subjects underwent a swab from which the Ausl is awaiting the results.
Currently in southeastern Tuscany Ausl 3,150 people are in home isolation due to a known case contact or because they come from other countries. The positives in charge are 846.
There are a total of people hospitalized in the facilities of Southeastern Tuscany Ausl 35: eleven They are in the Misericordia hospital in Grosseto: 10 in the Infectious Diseases ward and 1 in Intensive Care; 24 are in the San Donato hospital in Arezzo: 21 in the department of Infectious Diseases and 3 in the Intensive Care Unit.
In addition, they are located in the Covid Area of the University Hospital of Siena. 5 hospitalized for a total of 40 in the three provinces.
Swabs validated in the last 24 hours in southeast Tuscany Ausl are in total 2,858.
