The numbers of the infection after the holiday of December 8 are increasing again only in the province of Brescia: but it is a change that should be considered at least once a week. However, it was a black day, especially for our elderly, our grandparents: in the last 24 hours there were 21 deaths in Brescia, never so many in the second wave.
They were between 77 and 99 years old, they lived in Brescia, Barbariga, Collebeato, Desenzano, Erbusco, Gavardo, Isorella, Nave, Ospitaletto and Roccafranca: a death also in Valle Camonica. Many were guests in a retirement home: in this sense, in Gavardo there are 5 dead in the RSA Cenacolo Elisa Baldo. Since the beginning of the epidemic, more than 3,000 have died in Brescia from coronavirus.
Coronavirus: the situation in Lombardy
The situation in Lombardy speaks of 1,233 new positives compared to 14,174 swabs processed (equal to 8.6%, in line with the last days) and 4,375 people analyzed: 69 deaths from coronavirus. Net fall in hospitalizations, with a negative balance – which means there are more exits than entries – of 461 patients: to date, however, there are still 6,493 Covid patients in Lombard hospitals of which 766 (11.8%) in serious condition. In intensive care 26 new admissions against 27 resignations.
