Israeli jeweler says he makes the world’s most expensive coronavirus face mask worth $ 1.5 million

MOTZA, Israel – You may have seen some designer face masks out there, but they can not be compared to the creation by a high-end jeweler.

Luxury jewelry brand Yvel, from Israel, makes what they say is the most expensive COVID-19 face mask in the world. The custom, ultra-luxurious mask makes safety sparkle.

When ready, the 18-karat white gold face cover will be fitted with 3,600 white and black diamonds and can be fitted with the top-rated N99 filters.

The jeweler says it was commissioned by a Chinese businessman living in the US. He pays $ 1.5 million dollars for the mask.

Designer and owner at Yvel, Isaac Levy, says the man who applied for the mask had three conditions.

“First, it must be an N99 approved by the FDA and European standards,” Levy said. “The second condition was that it would be delivered before December 31. This year and the third condition, which was the easiest to fulfill, was that it would be the most expensive mask in the world.”

“Personally, I would not run with a mask like this,” Levy says. “I think we should all wear the same normal N95 mask. Money may not buy everything, but if it can buy a very expensive COVID-19 mask and the man wants to wear it and walk around and get the attention, he would be there “I’m glad that this mask gave us enough work for our employees to deliver their jobs in very challenging times like these at the moment.”

Another designer at Yvel says he has never seen anything like the mask. Bezalel Cooper says, “Setting up these many diamonds is a little stressful, but we’ll get through it.”

The glitzed-up face mask may not be a practical piece of protective equipment to wear. It is expected that they will weigh more than half a pound. ‘
