Towie star Mario Falcone
Mick joined the cast of TOWIE in the early series alongside his 32-year-old son Kirk, Mark Wright and Lucy Mecklenburgh.
The popular television celebrity caught the attention of Gemma Collins and the couple went on dates during the first few episodes.
He also dated fellow stars Chloe Sims and Maria Fowler.
But in 2013, he revealed that he was leaving the show for fear it would damage the image of his nightclub.
She told The Sun at the time: “My club is a fancy place where people come to drink champagne and feel spoiled.
‘ESSEX LEGEND’
“All these lines that are still filming do not show the club in good light and I worry that it is putting people off, which is the last thing I want.
“I’ve had enough. I’m out.”
Mick became a grandfather after the birth of his son Kirk’s son.
He became a property developer after leaving the program and was given the green light to build a dream country manor house in leafy Essex in 2018.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We were called at an address on Brentwood Road, Bulphan, shortly before 3.15 pm on Thursday 21 January.
“Sadly, a man inside was pronounced dead.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
