Met Eireann issues updated snow advisory for 23 counties as heavy falls hit Ireland

Met Eireann issued a new 24-hour snow and ice yellow status warning for 23 counties.

The alert is in place for all of Connacht, Leinster and Munster from 8 a.m. Thursday until 8 a.m. M. From Friday.
