Kate Middleton and Prince William have shared a rare video of their three children, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince George.

Real children are rarely heard speaking on camera, which means that for many fans it was the first time they had heard their adorable voices.

It’s the first time we’ve heard Louis, now two and a half years old, speak in public, and the most we’ve heard from George, seven or five year old Charlotte.

In the video, the children questioned their idol, David Attenborough, about nature and animals.

The three Cambrians were filmed by their parents in the Kensington Palace garden, each asking a question, then David recorded their responses separately.

The video posted on the official Kensington Royal Instagram account was captioned: “Ask David Attenborough, we have some questions for you @DavidAttenborough …”

Prince George began by saying, “Hello David Attenborough, what animal do you think will go extinct next?”

Princess Charlotte then added, “Hi David Attenborough, I like spiders, do you like spiders too?

Louis was the last, asking, “What animal do you like?”

The trio recorded the questions before having a chance to meet him in person on September 24.

David spent an afternoon watching his new movie ‘David Attenborough: A Life on This Planet’ with Prince William in the Kensington Palace garden.

Fans flooded the comment section of the sweet clip with messages of praise for the youngsters and their parents.

One user wrote: “Their voices are so nice to hear! Cute overload!”

Another added: “They are so cute, he answers them very simply and clearly for their age.”

A third said, “Real babies are growing up so fast! I’d go for a puppy too!”

Someone else wrote, “Charlotte sounds like her mom!”
