Man charged in connection with Isaac Horgan’s murder at Markevicz House apartment

A man has been charged in connection with Isaac Horgan’s death in a Dublin city center apartment on Monday morning, while a woman has been released without charge.

The man will appear before the Criminal Justice Courts this morning at 10:30 am.

Gardai questioned the two people last night in connection with the murder of Mr. Horgan, who was stabbed to death in a botched robbery.

Horgan bled to death in his ground floor apartment in the Markievicz House complex near Trinity College in Dublin on Monday morning.

A Garda statement this morning read: “The man in his 40s arrested in connection with the death of a man on a property in the Markievicz house on Monday March 29 has been charged. He must appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.

“The detained woman in her 30s has been released without charge. Now a file will be prepared for the Director of the Public Ministry.”
