The recently announced iPhone SE 2020 by Apple will be available for purchase in India very soon. The iPhone already appears on Flipkart with a banner “coming soon” indicating that consumers will be able to buy the device very soon. Registration for iPhone SE 2020 has already started in the country through Flipkart, as we previously reported. Ahead of the official launch, Apple has announced a partnership with HDFC Bank to offer a massive discount to consumers interested in buying the iPhone SE 2020.
Apple has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer a refund of Rs 3,600 to consumers who purchase the iPhone SE. The offer will reduce the price of the iPhone to Rs 38,900. HDFC Bank credit and debit card users can take advantage of this discount offer. Apple has not confirmed whether HDFC’s banking offering is limited to a few weeks or whether it will be available at all times. Apple has yet to announce the release date of the iPhone SE 2020 in India. But since the OnePlus 8 series will be available this month, we can expect Apple to launch the new iPhone SE.
Price of the iPhone SE 2020 in India: before and after the discount
In India, the iPhone SE 2020 comes in three variants. The base model includes 64 GB of internal storage priced at Rs 42,500. The 128GB model is priced at Rs 47,800, while the 256GB model of the iPhone SE 2020 is priced at Rs 58,300.

After applying the HDFC bank offer, consumers will be able to purchase the iPhone SE 2020 model from 64GB at Rs 38,900, the 128GB storage model at Rs 44,200 and the 256GB storage at Rs 54,700. The new iPhone SE comes in three colors: black, white and product red.
Why does the iPhone SE have many things going for it?
With the iPhone SE 2020, Apple aims to take on the likes of OnePlus 8 which is priced at Rs 41,999 for the base model. OnePlus 8 is available for pre-order and should be available for purchase very soon. The release date has not yet been revealed by the brand.
