The San Francisco 49ers feel they are well on their way to becoming one more victim of the dreaded Super Bowl hangover. With a 25-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, the roster could seal the fate of 49 people with spots of injuries already suffered.

At 2-2, the 49ers are two games behind the already unbeaten Seattle Seahawks, led by an early favorite to win the league MVP, Russell Wilson. Kyle Schnahan’s team is down in its third string quarterback as Jimmy Garoppolo’s ankle sprain and Nick Mullen’s grace come down and then the bench benches in favor of CJ Beathard.

Considering what 49 people have already experienced, it is not surprising that the bottoms began to fall in their season. Currently, 11 players are counted in the San Francisco injured reserve. They do not cause minor damage, the squad can easily overcome, too.

Defensive linemen Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas are out for the season. D and Ford’s condition is due to neck and back pain in the air. Cornbacker Richard Sherman, tight end Jordan Reed and running backs Rahim Mostert and Tavin Coleman all have nursing injuries. Both sides of all seven balls are crucial elements of the team’s approach.

Their replacements are also being eaten. Defensive end Ziggy Ansah’s biceps ruptured and will be out for the season, according to the NFL Network. Ian Rapoport. Cornelius Jason Verrett suffered a hand injury against the Eagles, according to Corn Thaletic Matt Burrows. Nickel Corner K’van Williams also tweaked his knee, per San Francisco ChronicleNo. Eric Branch.

Those included do not include anyone other than those on the injured reserve for Sunday’s contest. Linebackers Dre Greenlaw and Cornbxx Emanuel Moseley and Ahkelo Witherspoon were not allowed to participate.

No team will be able to take this kind of beating and entering it will not be able to catch it under the test of whether it feels so deep.

Last season’s Super Bowl performance came with a team capable of coming on top of the team’s waves, Whether it’s a formidable ground-and-pound attack or the game’s best defensive front. Shanahan is the best offensive play-killer in the business, but he can do a lot just to hide flaws.

Mullens looked like a deer in the headlights against the Eagles after burning the New York Giants 343 yards a week ago. The head coach / offensive coordinator tried to plan the game around San Francisco’s problems by getting a quarterback on his move and making some space for both him and his goals. Subpar was executed as a result of weak wounds, misunderstandings and mental errors.

“We had plenty of opportunities. And I didn’t really implement right now,” the quarterback said. Told reporters After the contest. “I feel so black and white right now. I just haven’t run.”

Mullens turned the ball three times, but it wasn’t his fault. Yes, his skills are limited to what crime can do. San Francisco struggled to extend the play and push the ball downfield and out of number.

However, the 49ers did not play well with their offensive front, and the wide receivers were not always on the same page with their signal-killers. The front five allowed five sacks and 15 quarterback hits. It seemed so tough when Beathard took his place and decisively dived in and took the field with the Eagles trying to give the lead milk.

Jericho McKinnon, who played a good game with 97 yards and a touchdown from Scrimmage, didn’t look all that explosive. He certainly lacked the speed seen in general to see the early 49ers running behind.

It’s not McKinson’s fault at all in any way. The entire San Francisco running game is struggling right now. Backfield has averaged 3.7 yards per vehicle during the last two races, like Kyle Madson USA Today Niners Wire noted.

Had it not been for the all-world tight end for George Kittle, the 49ers would not have had anyone on the field capable of constantly threatening the Eagles defense. Kitt caught an astonishing 183 yards and 15 passes for touchdowns (on 15 targets, not including a dropped two-point-conversion attempt). As good as it is, though, the 49ers can’t tolerate such a disproportionate approach to a passing game.

“We certainly haven’t played well today, not to take anything from Philly or anything but just from an execution point of view … we don’t like the rhythm of our whole team today.” Told reporters. “We have to go back to the drawing board tomorrow.”

A new approach designed on all ‘drawing boards probably won’t help. Instead, improved health is the only thing that could potentially save the 49-year-old season.

So far, the San Francisco coaching staff is not sure when Geroppolo will be on the lineup. Shanah said that he “Optimistic“His quarterback will be available for practice until Wednesday, but he’s definitely not given that. Even if Garappolo returns, he probably won’t be 100 per cent with his mobility limited by the ankle issue.

Like Garoppolo, 49 people could start working the huge receiver Debo Samuel in one more rhythm. He equipped for Sunday’s contest and caught three passes for 35 yards. However, the staff clearly had a receiver on a quick count, and it would be brought along slowly after foot surgery.

The others mentioned will eventually return as well. But San Francisco’s next schedule is ruthless. Despite the full allocation of players, the 49ers face a formidable road that seems almost impossible to navigate in the coming months and will probably force se posts ason to dampen all hopes of the Sun.

Once Shanahan’s team is ahead of the Miami Dolphins next week, There is no game based on which version of Brian Flores’ team shows up to play, San Francisco must face the Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints before a week 11 bye. Until then, the season could be over as those opponents currently hold a combined 14-4 record.

The 49ers quickly find out how good they really are during the five-game stretch.

Given what everyone has seen in the first quarter of the game and the number of injuries San Francisco has suffered, the odds are high that the team will have a record of defeat in the final phase of the 2020 campaign. By then, it will be too late, especially since Rams and Buffalo are hiding on the other side of Billo Bay.

In full force, San Francisco had what it took to try to defend its NFC crown. Right now, the 49ers are nothing more than a hollow presentation of last season’s powerhouse.

“Mood in the locker room, he sucks. … loses,” Kittle said Told reporters. “We have high goals and we want to go back to the Super Bowl. When you go out there and play like that, there’s really no chance.”
