JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – President Joko Widodo held an internal meeting with ministers, heads of institutions and 34 governors virtually at Bogor Palace on Friday morning, October 9, 2020.
However, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan admitted that he and other governors could not express their opinion on the Job Creation Law.
“As for the governor’s meeting, all the information was provided by the President, so those of us who were present were unable to provide information,” Anies Baswedan said when interviewed on Saturday, October 10, 2020.

Anies also said that the information was only released by the presidential team and President Joko Widodo.
“Because the message is like that. So we can’t transmit any information,” Anies said.
In the afternoon (09/10/2020), President Joko Widodo gave an official statement to the public regarding his clarification of a series of hoaxes related to the Omnibus Act of the Job Creation Act.
