JAKARTA – The government immediately opens the second lot charging help wage subsidies (BSU) for workers with wages below 5 million IDR in the near future. Therefore, the Ministry of Manpower has also received 3 million pieces of information on potential BSU recipients from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah said 3 million pieces of data on potential recipients were received and entered at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) as of September 1, 2020.

“Previously, we have received data from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for 3 million potential recipients of wages or wage subsidies,” Ida said in a press release on Tuesday (1/9/2020).

According to him, the 3 million data received from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan was none other than so that by mid-September 2020 the total target of BSU recipients could be reached, which was 15.7 million people.

“In fact, we really want the mid-September target to be met, so we initially increased from 2.5 million to 3 million. The hope is that more and more friends will receive transfers from the government,” he said.

The process to be carried out is the same as in the first stage, that is, after receiving the data from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, your party will first verify the data.

After that, the Ministry of Manpower will send the data to the Office of the State Treasury Service (KPPN). From KPPN, the money will be delivered directly to the members of the Association of State Owned Banks (Himbara) who are the distributors of the salary subsidy program.

“From this Himbara bank it will be transferred directly to the accounts of the workers who receive this program,” said Ida.

He also said that in the first batch there were workers who turned in their account numbers that were already inactive. According to him, this is very difficult for his party.

Based on this experience, Ida asked the workers to ensure their account number activity and not to submit two account numbers.

Similarly, the company will contact its employees to present the account number that is still active.

The second stage of BSU distribution takes place after all 3 million pieces of data have been re-verified. However, Ida asked prospective BSU recipients who had submitted their account numbers and met the requirements but had not received government transfers to be patient.

“I ask for your patience as long as my friends have submitted their active account numbers, as long as they have become BPJS Employment participants or have met specified requirements, then it is only a matter of time,” he said.
