“Then, make a socialization or campaign on the content and the reasons for the rejection of the omnibus law of the Employment Creation Law, especially the labor cluster by the workers,” he said.
Furthermore, Said emphasized, he will not engage in the discussion in the discussion of the rules derived from the Employment Creation Law.
This attitude is in line with the union’s commitment to reject the omnibus law of the Employment Creation Law, especially the labor cluster.
“The workers reject the omnibus law of the Employment Creation Law. Therefore, it is impossible for the workers to accept the derived regulations. Furthermore, they are involved in discussing it,” he said.
Furthermore, Said said, not all the workers’ demands were accommodated in the Employment Creation Law. In fact, Said said, his party had presented a counter-bill.
“However, many of the inputs that we transmitted were not accommodated, he added, it was not true what the DPR RI said that 80 percent of the labor proposals had been approved in the Employment Creation Law,” he concluded.

As is known, Thursday (8/10/2020) was the culmination of the demonstrations against the Employment Creation Law in several cities in Indonesia.
In Jakarta, the demonstration was marred by chaos. This incident is believed to have been inseparable from the provocation of the security forces against the protesters.
The provocation was manifested in the blockade of the road that became the route by which the mass of the demonstration would go to the Presidential Palace until the launch of tear gas.
