After being intensively examined by the police, SN (21) continues to be a witness. SN is a woman who was also arrested in connection with the rotating rape of a student with the initials EA (23).

Police said SN only took EA, who was drunk, to room 101 of the hotel where the rape took place.

“The woman with the initials SN takes the victim to (room 101). However, from the results of the examination and the title of the case, for now we have identified three suspects, while we have designated SN as a witness first. “said the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Panakkukang Iptu Iqbal Usman in his office, Jalan Pengayoman, Makassar, Tuesday (9/22/2020).

The rape took place in a hotel in the Panakkukang district, Makassar, on Saturday (19/9). Iptu Iqbal revealed that when EA was raped by three men in room 101, the woman SN was in room 103 along with another man who was also a witness.

“SN is in room 103 with one of the witnesses, not in the TKP (room 101),” he said.

Iptu Iqbal also stressed that the police will carry out further investigations. “In essence, the investigation is not finished today. It is still in development,” he said.

Furthermore, when asked if SN was aware of the incident of the rape of EA by three men, Ipu Iqbal said that the perpetrators took the initiative to carry out the action themselves.

“They themselves took the initiative. Based on the results of the information, they took the initiative themselves. Yes, that means they took turns,” he added.

Previously, in the pre-reconstruction carried out by the police on Monday (9/21), it was found that SN, who was in a car with victim EA, arrived at the hotel parking lot. EA, who was drunk, seemed led by SN to enter room 101.

Kapolsek Panakkukang Kompol Jamal Fathur Rakhman revealed that SN was the party who invited EA to sleep at the hotel after visiting a nightclub. “He (SN) invited (the EA victims),” Kompol Jamal said in his office.

Commissioner Jamal said the victim came to the nightclub initially accompanied by a colleague. The colleague was about to take the victim home. However, due to SN’s persuasion, the victim was not escorted home and ended up being escorted to the hotel.

“He (SN) convinced the victim that they were going to take him home, but it turned out that they took him to a hotel,” he explained.
