Manchester United is rumored to be signing Sergio Reguilón from Real Madrid. Now, Tottenham Hotspur is coming to liven up the competition and has the potential to beat it.

Reguilon, Real Madrid’s left-back, was initially rumored with various clubs. From Chelsea to Manchester United they are interested in hiring him.

Later, MU supposedly has the potential to get it. It is even claimed that a personal agreement has been reached between the two parties, and it is just a matter of waiting for the official offer from the Red Devils to Los Blancos.

However, MU is reportedly not yet willing to pay Real Madrid’s asking price, which is 30 million euros or 527.8 billion rupees. Furthermore, MU also states that it is not willing to incorporate the buyback clause requested by Madrid.

According to reports The athletic, Tottenham also came to Real Madrid. The Lilywhites also want to sign the Spain defender this summer.

In fact, Tottenham would be willing to fulfill Real Madrid’s wishes. 30 million euros in funds plus a buyback clause are ready to be accepted by the London club.

Now Tottenham only have to seek a personal agreement with Reguilon, who had previously agreed to move to MU.

Reguilon himself is a product of the Real Madrid quarry. Currently, it is difficult for him to penetrate the first team because there are still Marcelo and Ferland Mendy in the left side of the team.

Last season, Reguilón was finally loaned out by Real Madrid to Sevilla. The 23-year-old has a record 38 appearances and scored three goals in all competitions, helping Los Nervionenses win the 2019/2020 Europa League.

So far, MU has only signed one player on the transfer market this summer. Donny van de Beek is already docked at Old Trafford.
