A total of 14 state-owned companies (BUMN) will be liquidated aliases dissolved through Asset Management Company (Persero) or PPA. The Ministry of BUMN has mapped the conditions of BUMN that will be maintained and dissolved.
The General Staff of the Minister of BUMN, Arya Sinulingga, explained that they would maintain and develop up to 41 BUMN of the current total of 108 BUMN, then they would be consolidated or merged up to 34 BUMN. In addition, up to 19 BUMN will be managed or included in the PPA.
“Which will be settled through PPA, 14. This will make state companies thin,” he said in an online discussion on Monday (9/28/2020).
Unfortunately, Arya did not explain in detail which state companies would be liquidated, or the criteria by which BUMN could be dissolved.
But based on records detikcom, there are at least nine state-owned companies that have received the stamp of sick company or ‘dhuafa’ to be included in treatment or patients of PT PPA.
The nine companies are PT Merpati Nusantara Airline (MNA), PT Penas Air Survey, PT Industri Gelas, PT Kertas Kraft Aceh, PT Industri Sandang Nusantara, PT Kertas Leces, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT PAL Indonesia and PT Industri Kapal Indonesia.
Based on the statement of PT PPA’s Director of Business Construction and Asset Management, Dikdik Permadi, who was still in office at the time, stated that of the nine companies PT Kertas Leces could not be saved. This company has been declared bankrupt and is currently pending the liquidation of its assets.
“First, the fastest Leces, not before it is already bankrupt, just a curator auction to liquidate its assets. Then it will be distributed to creditors,” Dikdik said when speaking to journalists in Bandung, on Thursday (11/14/2019 ).
