Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Disturbances in the Netherlands, Sunday (1/24/2021). Police confronted the protesters and used water cannons, dogs and policemen on horseback to break up a protest in central Amsterdam.
The police also detained more than 100 people. The protesters are said to throw stones and fireworks.
The incident started when the crowd voiced their opinion in the Museum Square, which violated the rules prohibiting public gatherings to suppress the spread of the corona virus (Covid-19). Protesters against the closure (emergency shutdown) in that country.
