Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Vice President of Commission III DPR RI Ahmad Sahroni questioned the question of the Front of the Four Islamic Defenders (REIT) who was escorting Rizieq Shihab, who was reportedly in a clash between police and FPI members on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road around Karawang, West Java, on Monday (12/7).
This question was relayed by Sahroni at a general audience meeting (RDPU) with several members of the FPI and the families of the victims who were killed in a confrontation between the police and members of the FPI on the stretch of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road in the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Thursday (12/10).
On that occasion, Sahroni also questioned Rizieq’s current whereabouts.
“My question is, ladies and gentlemen of the victim’s family, I heard there were 10 companions of Muhammad Rizieq Shihab who said, said four people fled, said, assured Muhammad Rizieq Shihab. Maybe they know? [atau] Do you know it too? Sahroni said.
“So my next question, where is Muhamad Rizieq Shihab?” added.
The NasDem Party politician also corrected the use of the word massacre that was used by the victim’s family when giving an explanation to Commission III of the DPR at the hearing. He asked that the use of the word massacre be corrected because the police have not reported directly on the incident of the confrontation to date.
“I want to make corrections related to the language of the massacre that the victim’s family told me before, because to this day, until this second, the police have not transmitted anything directly about the incident on the highway,” he said.
In response to Sahroni’s statement, FPI (Wasekum) Deputy Secretary General Aziz Yanuar said that only six people were victims of the fighting incident.
However, Aziz did not answer Sahroni’s questions about Rizieq’s current whereabouts.
“In my opinion, according to the information, only six people were martyred, and in fact six people in a car, if the information in a car is 10 people, that’s not true, that’s all,” he said.
Police have not returned the victims’ items
On that occasion, the families of the victims who died in the clash between the police and members of the FPI on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road had said that the police had not returned their relatives’ belongings to date.
“The KTP elements weren’t there [dikembalikan]Also, my KTP and usual bag are my kids who carry a bag, cell phone, etc., no clothes. [dikembalikan]”said the late Lutfil Hakim’s father, Zainuri.
Meanwhile, the late Andi Oktiawan’s uncle, Umar, and the late Muhammad Reza’s sister, Septi, said that the police had not returned their relatives’ belongings.
Umar said the police should have returned his nephew’s belongings to him.
“Of course, of all my friends, not a single item that I received, yes, it has the deceased, although it is still active sir, yes I am confused if it should be returned,” said Umar.
The late Muhammad Suci Khadavi’s sister, Anandra, shared similar thoughts. According to him, Khadavi’s belongings, such as mobile phones, handbags and wallets, have not been returned.
“Our family did not receive any cell phone items from Khadavi, or handbags,” Anandra said.
Furthermore, he believes that Khadavi did not carry firearms as indicated by the police. According to him, Khadavi’s job was only to control Rizieq, not to wage war.
“We want to make it clear that our children do not carry weapons, or pistols that are reported in the media, because what for that is good intentions not for war,” said Anandra.
