KOMPAS.com – Rider Valentino Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso were caught on camera gossiping about San Marino MotoGP series champion Franco Morbidelli.

The incident occurred while the two riders were at a MotoGP Emilia Romagna press conference.

The second “gossip” action began when Franco Morbidelli had not arrived at the press conference.

Quoting the official MotoGP Twitter, Rossi took the initiative to call rider Petronas SRT.

When calling Franco Morbidelli, Rossi said the other riders were waiting for him.

After hanging up the phone, Rossi informed the Ducati rider Andera Dovizioso at his side that Morbidelli would be arriving soon.

Hearing that, Dovi started to spark a conversation by asking if Franco Morbidelli was always like this.

Rossi also agreed and revealed what Morbidelli’s personality was like.

Based on the narrative of the living MotoGP legend, Franco Morbidelli is a very laid back person on anything but the subject of riding his bike on the race track.

Not surprisingly, Morbidelli was late for the press conference.

“Yes, he drives the bike very fast, but then the rest, he is very relaxed,” said Rossi about how Morbidelli lived life off the track.

Rossi’s honest statement about Morbidelli made Dovi laugh.

As soon as the two spoke, Morbidelli leaned over and made an apologetic gesture for keeping the others waiting.

The two cyclists interrupted their conversation and returned to focus on the press conference.

Aside from the ridiculous actions displayed by the three riders, the competition in the MotoGP qualifying is increasingly fierce.

Andrea Dovizioso is currently the top champion of the MotoGP classification with 76 points.

Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi is in sixth place with 58 points and Franco Morbidelli in seventh place with 57 points. (Ananda Lathifah Rozalina)
