JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The transmission of the corona virus in the middle of society has not shown signs of diminishing. In fact, if you look at the data from the Covid-19 Task Force, the addition of daily cases shows an upward trend.
Amid the continued increase in cases, President Joko Widodo reminded the public to be aware of the three groups of spread of the corona virus that are quite massive, namely, the office group, the family group and the regional electoral group. .
This was emphasized by the president in opening a plenary cabinet meeting at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (7/9/2020) yesterday.
“Watch out, this is what I need to convey. Be careful with the name of the office cluster, the second is the family cluster, be careful. The last one is also the pilkada cluster, watch out. So that it will always be remembered, ”said the President.

According to the Head of State, so far the government has always reminded the public to always be careful and apply strict health protocols when in public places.
But in fact, the three clusters you mentioned contributed a lot to the increase in daily cases that have occurred in recent times.
“We forget that now we have to be careful in the clusters that I transmitted,” he said.
According to data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force published on the Covid19.go.id page, the accumulated positive cases reached 196,989 people until September 7, 2020, since it was announced on March 2.
This number increased by 2,880 people in the last 24 hours. In the last week, the increase in daily Covid-19 cases often exceeded 3,000 cases per day.

Family group
The president revealed that the family group is one of the groups that receives enough attention because many people are careless in the implementation of health protocols when they are at home.
“The family group, because we got home and we feel safe, now that is where you have to be careful,” said the president.
One area that has a large enough household is the city of Bogor, West Java.
On August 24, the Bogor City Health Office reported that 31.9 percent of total Covid-19 transmission cases in the city came from the family group.

Erlang Samoedro, general secretary of the Central Directorate of the Indonesian Lung Physicians Association (PDPI), assessed that two things caused family groups to emerge in Indonesia.
First, there is a family member who is exposed to Covid-19 from outside the home and then transmits it to other family members.
Second, there is a release of activities in the community during the pandemic. This is also alleged to have triggered the emergence of family groups as more and more people are active abroad.
“Again, sometimes you don’t realize that you are infected by the surrounding environment, for example from work or friends or when you socialize, that’s the problem,” he said.
Office cluster
The government is known to have reported the emergence of this group since last July. Above all, since the government relaxed the policy of large-scale social restraint (PSBB) to boost the economic sector.
One of the areas that reported the emergence of fairly large office clusters was DKI Jakarta. At least, according to data from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office, there are 440 employees in 68 offices in DKI Jakarta who have tested positive for Covid-19.

According to the president, the office clusters arose because the community was not orderly in implementing health protocols while in office.
“On the way to the office we also felt safe, that’s why we also forgot about the office, the health protocols,” he said.
Meanwhile, according to the chairman of the expert team and spokesperson for the Covid-19 management working group, Wiku Adisasmito, the appearance of office clusters may come from residential areas or on the way people go to the office.
“Actually, people who work in offices come from homes, from settlements, so of course there must be groups in the settlements if there is a group in the office and they can catch you in your home or at home or on the way to the office. work, “said Wiku. on August 7, 2020, as reported by Covid19.go.id.
Pilkada Cluster
This group is the newest group to receive enough attention.
The Pilkada 2020 event is considered quite a concerning event in the spread of the corona virus.

The reason is that even though the health protocol has been regulated, there are still many people, as well as supporters and possible regional bosses, who do not comply with the protocol.
Within three days of the registration period for potential regional chief candidates from Friday (4/9/2020) to Sunday (6/9/2020), for example, the Electoral Oversight Agency (Bawaslu) found 243 violations of health protocols during the registration of potential candidates for regional chiefs.
The forms of violations that were committed began with potential candidates for regional chiefs who brought in supporters and mobilized the masses.
So the distance between supporters was not implemented according to the health protocols, especially before the registration process.

The president also called for violators of health protocols to be dealt with firmly during elections.
“I ask this of you, Mister Interior Minister, the issues related to this electoral group are duly affirmed, given the correct affirmation,” said the president.
“The National Police also gives assertiveness in this, the rules of the game in regional elections, because it is clear that the PKPU is very clear. So, I think that the Minister of the Interior will be with Bawaslu so that this really receives a strong warning”, Jokowi added.
