JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – The president of the PDI Perjuangan or PDIP, Megawati Soekarnoputri, asked President Joko Widodo or Jokowi not to spoil the millennial generation too much.
Megawati then questioned what contribution the millennial generation has made to the Indonesian nation so far.
“I told the president (Jokowi), don’t spoil yourself (millennial generation), it is said that our generation is the millennial generation,” Megawati said at the virual inauguration of the DPP PDIP office on Wednesday (10/28/2020 ).

“I want to ask, what is the contribution of the millennial generation that already knows technology like us to go viral without meeting face to face, what is their contribution to this nation and country.”
Furthermore, Megawati in his statement later mentioned the actions of the millennial generation who often hold demonstrations against the Job Creation Act, even resulting in the destruction of various public facilities.
According to him, demonstration action is allowed by law. Furthermore, since the reforms Indonesia has entered a climate of democracy.
