FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Social media activist Denny Siregar also responded to Minister of Religion (Menag) Fachrul Razi’s statement on radicalism.

Denny asked the Minister of Religion, Fachrul Razi, to immediately formulate measures and policies to remove the seeds of radicalism that exist in government and social circles.

“Yes, Mr. Minister @Kemenag_RI .. It is time that there were no more speeches, but concrete steps have been taken, that radicalism in the government ends,” he wrote on his Twitter account on Friday (9/4/2020 ).

Denny said the public is waiting for clear policies and strategies regarding the handling of radical movements.

“That’s what we’re waiting for, instead of being close to FPI …” Denny said.

Previously, the Minister of Religion, Fachrul Razi, said that mosques within state ministries or institutions were an opening for radicalism to enter the Civil Apparatus of the State (ASN).

“The possibility (entry of radical understanding) from places of worship, whether in government institutions, BUMN, or where we live. There are many opportunities for government institutions to get into radical thinking, “said Fachrul.

Fachrul revealed that radical figures could enter mosques. Initially posted by someone with good looks and good command of the Arabic language. Usually they have also memorized the Quran.

Because they have a good religious understanding, this person will be appointed imam and entrusted with the task of looking after the mosque.

“He was appointed administrator of the mosque, then joined his friends and introduced the ideas that we feared,” he concluded. (msn-jpnn / sunrise)
