YAKARTA, investor.id – The government once again entrusted PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) to build health facilities and facilities in the context of the Covid-19 control.
Waskita is currently working on the construction of the Covid-19 Emergency Hospital located in Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Previously, Waskita had completed the construction of quarantine facilities to control infectious diseases, especially the coronavirus on Galang Island, Batam, Riau Islands Province.
The Covid-19 Emergency Hospital by Waskita is located in Tower 6, which has 24 floors with an area of 40,300 M2 consisting of 650 rooms with a total capacity of 1,750 patients.
The construction of Tower 6 Kemayoran Athlete’s House is an effort to enhance the function of Covid-19 Emergency Hospital, where the first floor is used as an emergency room facility (IGD), second-floor intensive care unit (HCU), Third floor intensive care unit (ICU) and floors 4 to 24 are inpatient rooms.
The Covid-19 Wisma Kemayoran Atlet Emergency Hospital was built to anticipate the increasing number of Covid-19 patients, while existing hospitals are beginning to fill up.
“The work of the Covid-19 Tower 6 Emergency Hospital started on April 13, 2020 and will be delivered on May 8, 2020,” project manager Adriansyah Perdana said in a press release received by the editors on Monday. (04/05/2020).
