BOGOR DISTRICT, KOMPAS.com – A video recording shows the reckless action of a man in Bogor hanging from a pole at the edge of a railway bridge (KA).

The video is known to have occurred precisely on the Cikeas River Bridge, Cibinong-Nambo Railway, Bogor Regency, West Java on Saturday (10/31/2020).

In the video, at the beginning you can see a black motorcycle lying right on the edge of the railway bridge.

The motorcycle almost fell over because there were no restrictions on the bridge. The condition of the bridge itself seems very high and below an abyss.

Soon after, a man was caught hanging from a pole that was slightly off the railing.

After investigating, the motorcycle on the edge of the rail was thought to belong to the man.

Apparently, the man hanging from his back was a motorcyclist who was about to pass before the train arrived.

But sadly, the man got stuck with his motorcycle so he dared to hang himself from a pole on the railway bridge.

“Nyawa Mas, be careful Mas, huh,” said a train passenger warning the man who was hanging up on the video.

The 10-second video then went viral on social media on @ jalurnambo’s Instagram account.

“WATCH OUT. The train bridge is NOT intended to cross motorcycles, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS !!! If something like this happens, do you want to repeat it? Love your lives, always be careful. Location: Cikeas River Bridge, Cibinong – Nambo Road Parcel“wrote the account.

In response to this dangerous incident, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta deeply regretted this reckless action.

PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Head of Public Relations Eva Chairunisa emphasized that the Cikeas River Rail Bridge, the Cibinong-Nambo route, is not for pedestrians, motorcyclists or other vehicles.

“The bridge is a special railway line and is only intended for trains, including electric trains (KRL),” Eva said in her written statement on Sunday (01/10/2020).

It is emphasized to citizens who will carry out activities that use the facilities that are provided for motorized vehicles or pedestrians and do not use the railroad area for activities.

PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta again emphasized that no one should be on the train track because it is so dangerous. This is established in article 181 paragraph (1) of Law 23 of 2007 on Railways.

In paragraph (1) the article establishes that every person is prohibited from being in the benefits room of the railway; drag, move, place or move goods on rails or railroad tracks; or use the railway line for purposes other than rail transport.

Of course, what the man has done in the video is rape and may put him and the train ride in danger.

For this reason, PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta continues to socialize and invite the public with full awareness, especially those who live around the railroad, to care for and follow the rules that have been established for mutual safety.
