YOGYAKARTA, KOMPAS.com– A few days ago a viral video of a teenager in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, flying with a kite on Friday (9/4/2020).
The incident happened to AF, residents of Dusun Mayungan I, Murtigading Village, Sanden District, Bantul.
“Yes, that’s right, on Friday (4/9/2020) after Friday prayers around 1pm WIB,” Mayungan boss Hamlet I Marjana said when contacted. Kompas.com by phone, Monday (7/9/2020).

He explained that the incident began when several teenagers from Mayungan I Hamlet made kites in the shape of a dragon and flew them at Murtigading Field.
The kite that is about 50 meters long and ready to be flown by the victim and some of his friends.
During the flight test, there were strong winds at the scene so the kite took the victim flying.
“It just so happens to be kite season, so the kids were done, and they want to try it, you know, then fly 10 feet high,” said Marjana.

Unfortunately, when he got up, the kite-flying rope that the victim was holding broke and the victim fell to the ground.
As a result, the victim suffered injuries to his wrists and hips and is currently receiving treatment at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital.
“Currently he is still in the hospital,” he said.
Marjana said that at the time her village and several villages in Murtigading Village were busy with kites. This viral video of a teenager at Bantul Regency is busy being uploaded by various social networks.
