A video shows the commotion of motorists in Jalan Proklamasi in central Jakarta. The car was reportedly attacked by an unknown person.
The head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Menteng Police, Comr. Gozali Luhulima, confirmed the incident. Gozali said his party was currently pursuing the perpetrators.
“Yes, later, we are after the perpetrator,” Gozali said when contacted. detikcom, Tuesday (8/9/2020).
The incident took place at 10:00 AM WIB in Jalan Proklamasi, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
From the video circulating on social media, it appears that there was tension when the attack occurred. A hysterical woman yells for help from the car.
“Please … tolooong … tolooong, sir,” the woman yelled.
There are two women in the car and a driver. A woman is seen holding a baby.
The car was suddenly intercepted in the middle of the road. Two men got out of the blocking car.
In the car that was locked, a woman’s voice was heard shouting for help.
“Sir … please sir … tolooong …” another woman yelled.
“Right alone, Ko … straight, Ko. Shock AHA, hit, ”said the woman, telling the driver she was walking backwards.
How it ended is unknown. The cause of the incident was not yet known. However, from the video that was released, it is narrated that the incident began with a car accident.
