Donny van de Beek marked his Manchester United debut in the loss to Aston Villa. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is pleased with the appearance of his new player.
MU was beaten by Villa 0-1 in a test match at Villa Park last night (12/09/2020). The Red Devils didn’t line up their entire core team, but Van de Beek played the full 90 minutes.
The young Dutch midfielder was signed by Man United from Ajax in a deal that could reach £ 40m earlier this month. Van de Beek strengthened his country for the first time in two UEFA Nations League games, before taking his first training session with United this week.
The 23-year-old footballer was planned to team up with Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes in Manchester United’s midfield. Solskjaer indicated that Van de Beek would be promising after witnessing his action against Villa.
