BOLASPORT.COM – Senior MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi admits he can’t wait for the Indonesian MotoGP race at Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) in the 2021 racing season.

The Indonesian MotoGP racing series has officially entered the MotoGP 2021 calendar.

Valentino Rossi is also looking forward to the racing event because he admires the enthusiasm of the MotoGP fans in Indonesia.

“The enthusiasm of the fans in Indonesia is extraordinary, although sometimes it is difficult to control. Therefore, I am happy to race there because there will be many spectators,” Rossi said, quoted in the @MotoGP social media tweet. from Twitter.

“The track is also very interesting and new. I saw some photos and saw the circuit near the sea. This is a new project, so I hope to come,” said the Italian rider nicknamed The Doctor.

Compared to most current MotoGP riders, Valentino Rossi is no stranger to Indonesia.

It was noted that the Doctor had played a race at the Sentul Circuit, Bogor, West Java, in 1997.

“I raced Sentul and won in 1997. I also visited there several times with Yamaha,” Rossi said.

“The (Indonesian) fans are amazing,” he said again.
