This great wave of protests brings a demand, namely the repeal of the Job Creation Law, which is considered highly detrimental to the fate of workers.
Several political figures also commented on the ratification of the Copyright Act, one of whom was former House Vice Speaker Fahri Hamzah.
Responding to the protests that arose for the ratification of the Employment Creation Law, Fahri Hamzah through social networks Twitter had lifted the hashtag #UUCiptaDemo.
On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, Fahri Hamzah made a mockery saying that he was not sure the investors would come after the Labor Copyright Act was passed.
According to Fahri Hamzah, investors will be committed to human rights and the environment, so the Job Creation Act, which has the potential to violate both, is considered not to attract investors.
