jpnn.com, NEW YORK – The latest data on the 2020 US presidential election results shows that Joe Biden has successfully eliminated the US West Coast states and expanded the electoral vote lead of Donald Trump, the Tuesday (March 11).

According to projections released by CNN at 11:30 p.m. local time, Biden had 192 electoral votes, while Trump only had 114.

As is known, candidates need 270 electoral votes to be declared the winners of the United States presidential elections.

Biden’s lead grew after the Democratic politician managed to control every state on the West Coast, including California, which had 55 electoral votes.

In addition, Biden also managed to capture the states of New Mexico and Illinois.

Even so, Trump still has a chance to reverse the situation. The reason is that while it is still superior in several crucial states like Florida, Georgia, Texas and Ohio.

Currently all states have completed voting. However, the final election results may only be known on Wednesday (11/4) local time. (cnn / dil / jpnn)
