Upon returning to the Red Zone, Bandung city government implements proportional PSBB

THE PEOPLE’S MIND – Large Scale Proportional Social Restrictions (PSBB) will be implemented in Bandung City.

This regulation is contained in the Mayor’s Regulation (Perwal) number 46 regarding the adaptation of new habits (AKB) which has been revised.

The PSBB decision was made considering that the city of Bandung re-entered the Red Zone due to the spread of the corona virus (Covid-19).

Bandung City Covid-19 Task Force noted that from Nov 22 to Dec 2, 2020, the total confirmed 3,763 with a total of 881 active confirmations.



Positive Covid-19 cases continue to rise and have not shown a decline since October 2020.

“Based on the results of the central assessment, we did a self-assessment. Bandung is currently in a high-risk area (red) with an indicator score of 1.7. Of course, we must continue to remind the public to maintain protocols health is a necessity that must be carried out with high discipline, “Bandung Mayor Oded M.
