UPDATE September 7: New Covid-19 cases spread in 26 provinces, DKI Jakarta registers 1,046 additional cases Page all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government updated information on the development of daily Covid-19 cases on Monday (7/9/2020). According to data from the Covid-19 Management Task Force, there were 2,880 new cases of confirmed positive patients for the corona virus.

This data starts at 12.00 WIB on Sunday (9/6/2020) until 12.00 WIB on Monday. So in total there are 196,989 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia to date.

The number of additions was obtained from the results of the examination of 18,412 samples in the last 24 hours.

Based on these data, the new cases of patients with positive confirmation of Covid-19 are distributed in 26 provinces. Five provinces with the highest number of new cases were registered.

The five DKI provinces are Jakarta (1,046 new cases), East Java (301 new cases), Central Java (264 new cases), West Java (204 new cases), and Bali (173 new cases).

Meanwhile, the general transmission of Covid-19 has so far occurred in 489 districts / cities of 34 provinces.

Furthermore, there are eight provinces that have not had any new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, namely Bangka Belitung, Bengkulu, Jambi, West Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and NTT.

Then the government also noted that there were 2,077 additional patients who had been declared cured. Therefore, the total number of recovered Covid-19 patients was 140,652 people.

Additionally, there were 105 additional patients who died after previously testing positive for Covid-19. So the number of patients who have died due to Covid-19 is currently 8,130 people.

1. DKI Jakarta: 1,046 new cases

2. East Java: 301 new cases

3. Central Java: 264 new cases

4. West Java: 204 new cases

5. Bali: 173 new cases
