INDRAMAYU, KOMPAS.com – The Pertamina RU VI Balongan oil refinery, Indramayu, West Java, caught fire on Monday (03/29/2021), around 00.45 WIB.
PT Pertamina firefighters and officers continue to conduct fire suppression efforts.
According to reports from journalists Compass tv Vidaa Alatas, the fire still did not go out until Tuesday (3/30/2021), at 05.00 WIB.
“The weather at the fire site fell under heavy rain,” Vidaa told Sapa Indonesia Pagi on Tuesday.

However, conditions on Tuesday morning were judged to be better than the day before.
The flames and smoke that rose were no longer as great as Monday.
Currently, the Pertamina RU VI refinery is not yet actively operating.
PT Pertamine previously applied to turn off or cessation of fuel oil processing operations.
