JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government updates the information on the development of daily Covid-19 cases on Friday (09/10/2020).
According to data shared by the Covid-19 Management Task Force on Thursday afternoon, there were 4,094 new cases of patients confirmed positive for Covid-19.
The data is calculated from 12.00 WIB on Thursday (10/8/2020) to 12.00 WIB on Friday.
So in total there are 324,658 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia to date.

The number of additions was obtained from the results of the examination of 44,700 samples in the last 24 hours.
Based on these data, the new cases of patients with positive confirmation of Covid-19 are distributed in 30 provinces.
Meanwhile, the four provinces that were observed did not experience any additional new cases, namely Riau, Lampung, North Maluku and Maluku Islands.
From these data, there were also five provinces with the highest addition of new cases.
The five DKI provinces are Jakarta (943 new cases), West Java (504 new cases), Central Java (412 new cases), East Java (310 new cases) and West Sumatra (295 new cases).
Meanwhile, the general transmission of Covid-19 has so far occurred in 500 districts / cities of 34 provinces.

Then the government also registered 3,607 additional patients who had been declared cured.
Therefore, a total of 247,667 patients recovered from Covid-19.
Additionally, there are 97 additional patients who died after previously testing positive for the corona virus.
So the number of patients who died due to Covid-19 to date is 11,677 people.
