JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has been going on for almost eight months, and so far there have been no signs of reducing the transmission of the corona virus.
Transmission continues to occur in the community, causing Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to continue to increase today, Saturday (10/31/2020).
Government data on Saturday at 12.00 WIB showed that there were 3,143 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The addition has brought the total number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 410,088 now, as of the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020.

The patient recovered and died
The government shows data that the number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered is currently increasing and growing.
The data shows that there are 3,506 additional Covid-19 patients who recover in one day.
They were declared cured according to the examination method. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) showing negative results for the corona virus.
Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered has reached 337,801 people since the start of the pandemic.

However, there is still sad news with the increase in the death rate due to Covid-19.
In the period from October 30 to 31, 2020, 87 patients with Covid-19 died.
As a result, the death toll from Covid-19 in Indonesia is now 13,869 people.
With this data, there are currently 58,418 active cases of Covid-19. They are patients who still have the disease and are still being treated in the hospital or in independent isolation.
Apart from the positive cases, it is currently known that there are 67,900 people in the country who are suspected of being in the country.

Sample data
A total of 3,143 new cases of Covid-19 were discovered after the government examined 29,001 specimens per day.
During the same period, 27,459 people were sampled to examine the samples.
In total, the government examined 4,517,739 specimens against 2,881,443 people sampled during the pandemic.
With registration, a person can undergo the examination of the sample more than once.

Covid-19 cases have been recorded in Indonesia in all provinces, from Aceh to Papua.
In detail, 502 districts / cities of 34 provinces have been affected by the corona virus infection.
