JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The transmission of the coronavirus to date, Thursday (12/11/2020), continues to occur in the community.
This can be seen with the increasing number of Covid-19 cases, according to incoming data at 12.00 WIB on Thursday.
Government data shows that there have been 4,173 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
This addition brings the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia currently reaching 452,291 people, as of the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020.

This information was revealed by the Covid-19 Management Working Group through data received by journalists on Thursday afternoon.

The patient recovered and died
Although the number of cases continues to grow, hope is emerging with the growing number of Covid-19 patients recovering.
In one day, there are a further 3,102 Covid-19 patients known to have recovered and are no longer considered infected with the corona virus.
They were declared cured according to the examination method. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) showing negative results for the corona virus.
Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered has reached 382,084 since the start of the pandemic.

However, the sad news has returned with an increase in the number of Covid-19 patients who have died.
In the period from November 11 to 12, 2020, 97 patients with Covid-19 died.
Thus, the death rate from Covid-19 in Indonesia reached 14,933 people.
When looking at this data, there are currently 55,274 active registered cases of Covid-19. They are positive patients still receiving hospital care or independent isolation.
In addition to the positive cases, it is known that 56,868 people are currently suspected of being linked to the transmission of the coronavirus.

Sample data
A total of 4,173 new cases of Covid-19 were discovered after the government examined 42,165 samples per day.
During the same period, 36,496 people were sampled for sample examination.
In total, the government has examined 4,938,958 specimens from 3,211,592 people sampled.
For the record, a person can have a sample test more than once.

Covid-19 cases have been recorded in all provinces of Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua.
In more detail, there are 505 districts / cities in 34 provinces that registered patients for being infected with the corona virus.
This means that around 98 percent of the territory of Indonesia has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
