The Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya Sugiarto strongly reprimanded UMMI Hospital, which was deemed to have failed the Habib Rizieq Shihab swab test. The Habib Rizieq swab test is known to have been a medical team from outside the hospital.

“The hospital saw that we were missing the issue, we reprimanded ourselves, we asked to go ahead, be open, cooperate, because it could be subject to the article. The reprimand for UMMI Hospital was the aftermath of not monitoring the smear process against Habib Rizieq Shihab at UMMI Hospital. The swabbing process, called Family, was carried out by a team of MER-C doctors on Friday afternoon (11/27/2020). However, the swabbing process was carried out without the knowledge of UMMI Hospital and did not involve the Health Office or the City of Bogor Task Force.
“I contacted Dr. Andi (Managing Director of UMMI Hospital, Andi Tatat) before Friday and they told me that the team of private doctors was on their way to UMMI Hospital, and after that they were planning to do a swab test. And at that time I said, don’t forget to coordinate, because it must be witnessed by the Health Office (Bogor City Health Office) and they agree where to take you for the PCR test. The laboratory must be by mutual agreement, and that is agreed (by the UMMI Hospital), “said Bima Arya during a press conference at Bogor City Hall, on Friday (11/27/2020).
“But after Friday I received information that Habib (Habib Rizieq Sihab) had undergone a test. Without being informed, without notifying us,” Bima Arya continued.
Bima Arya admitted that she had contacted UMMI Hospital director Andi Tatat to ask again who was performing the swab test on Habib Rizieq Shihab. However, the UMMI Hospital did not give a definitive answer.
“So I contacted Dr. Andi directly, and they told him that he did not know that the hyssop test was done during prayer time on Friday, that’s how it was said,” Bima explained.
