According to the Jakarta Tribun, as of Thursday night, riots and clashes in various parts of Jakarta that had heated up gradually subsided.
As is well known, the demonstration against the Omnibus Law of the Employment Creation Law ended in chaos.

There were clashes between the masses and the authorities in various areas of DKI Jakarta.
One of them is around Harmoni and Bundarah HI, in central Jakarta.
Not just at the HI roundabout, chaos was inevitable under the Semanggi Bridge in South Jakarta.
According to TribunJakarta.com tracking, the crash occurred around 9:40 p.m. WIB.
Protesters destroyed and burned existing public facilities.

Reporting from Kompas.com, the provincial government of DKI Jakarta will convene all actors of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises affected by the riots of the demonstration against the Omnibus Law on the Employment Creation Law.

DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said his party would provide capital assistance so that businessmen affected by the unrest could resell, especially book entrepreneurs in the Senen area.

“Later, the Provincial Government will summon all the businessmen who were affected by the incident yesterday. Later, we will help to provide capital so that they can immediately restart their business, especially with regard to books,” said Anies while visiting Senen area, Central Jakarta, on Friday (09/10/2020).
Anies regretted the anarchist actions of the masses because they helped burn books that were used as a teaching medium for students.
“This is didactic material, learning material so that burning books has a different meaning. We all lose more when books are burned because there is knowledge, there is learning opportunity for our children, ”said Anies.
According to data received by Anies, a total of 20 bus stops in Jakarta were damaged as a result of mass anarchism.
“The total damage is 20 bus stops. The loss is estimated to be around 55 billion rupees,” Anies said.

According to Anies, his party will examine the details of the damage today, to be repaired immediately.
Anies made sure that several public facilities in Jakarta could still be used today. Debris from the riots had been continuously cleared by officers since Thursday night.
“The rubble is still being resolved because some of it still needs time to clean up. You can see the rubble around here, but God willing, we will finish it before noon. So that the citizens of Jakarta can do their activities as before. Anies said.
The ratification of the Cipta Karya Law invited a wave of demonstrations in various regions of Indonesia, one of which was Jakarta.

The demonstrations were carried out by groups of workers and students in Jakarta, which centered around the Presidential Palace and the DPR Building on Thursday.
The demonstration led to an anarchist action by destroying and setting fire to several facilities, such as the old cinema building in Senen, which affected four commercial premises and two bookstores in the surroundings.
