LIVE – Manchester United made a brilliant comeback against West Ham United at London’s Olympic Stadium on Sunday morning WIB, December 6, 2020. After falling behind, MU finished the match with a 3-1 victory.
These results bring MU to fourth place in the Premier League standings with 19 points from 10 games, two points off the top. Meanwhile, West Ham is in seventh position with 17 points.
The victory over West Ham adds to the terrible record of the Red Devils. MU has achieved nine consecutive victories outside of the Premier League. This season, MU’s away record is still perfect (five wins).
MU manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave his competitors an ultimatum. United’s performances this season and their return to West Ham have not been structured by chance.
“When we score goals and excel, we look like ourselves. This has often been a coincidence, coming back from 0-1 down. We have character and confidence in this team,” Solskjaer was quoted as saying by Skysport.
“Mental is one of the most important things that I take from these away games. The players always believe in themselves and believe, there is no yelling, we believe in our teammates and in ourselves,” he continued.
Solskjaer also revealed how MU could come from behind. This is inseparable from the motivation he always gives in the locker room and from the bench.
“The most important thing is to clear the minds of the players because it seemed like we couldn’t keep up after they scored and we were a bit stressed. So I reassured them, “he said.
