UFC 254 Khabib vs Gaethje, this is Conor McGregor’s prediction

KOMPAS.com – The battle of Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 did not escape Conor McGregor’s attention.

Khabib vs Gaethje duel in the race for the lightweight champion belt (light) will be held in Fight Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Saturday (10/24/2020) local time or Sunday morning WIB.

Before the Khabib vs. Gaethje fight at UFC 254, McGregor also gave his prediction.

McGregor, who was defeated by Khabib at UFC 229, predicted that the Russian fighter would provoke Gaethje a lot to make a bottom fight.

“He (Khabib) will be staring at the hind legs since the bell rings,” McGregor said. Give me sport.

“Khabib will tremble there, as always. He is the most predictable fighter. Gaethje will understand this,” he added.

McGregor thinks Gaethje has a chance to hit KO Khabib.

“Gaethje’s fighting style is to go in by letting go prick nice and low, “said McGregor.

“I think if Khabib can defeat him, (the fight) will end early. I would prefer Khabib,” McGregor said.

Justin Gaethje came into this duel with the status of the UFC interim lightweight champion belt.

He had a shot at Khabib and wore the interim champion belt after defeating Tony Ferguson at UFC 249, on May 10, 2020.

The last time Khabib Nurmagomedov fought was against Dustin Poirier at UFC 242, on September 7, 2019.
