President Donald Trump’s lead in the Pennsylvania vote continues to shrink. Democrat Joe Biden’s rival is closing in on the incumbent president’s vote.

“Every time we get a new vote, the leadership of the president (Trump) will resign,” CNN’s chief national correspondent John King said, CNN reported on Friday (6/11/2020).

A previous lead of 500,000 votes has been reduced to a figure slightly north of 114,000.

With 92% of the votes counted, President Trump still has a 50.2% lead, midwives 48.5%. However, Biden kept up the pace.

“Every time we get a meaningful vote, Joe Biden has pushed the limits that he has to overcome to continue that leadership, and he has a chance to win the Commonwealth of Pannsylvanian,” King said.

In other prominent states, including Nevada and Arizona, which still count votes, securing a win in Pennsylvania could be the fastest way for Biden to get 270 electoral votes and make it to the White House.

“If you’re Joe Biden and you understand this,” King said, pointing to Pennsylvania on the map, “then you’re done.”
