According to Trump, the battle is still long. “Starting Monday, our campaign will begin to process our case in court to ensure that the electoral law is fully applied and that the rightful winner is seated,” he said.
Biden crossed the 270 mark after receiving additional injections from Pennsylvania and Nevada. His electoral votes soared to 290. Biden’s supporters across the country immediately cheered.
Previously, Biden had expressed confidence that he could get 300 electoral votes. Biden claims to be on track to win more than 300 electoral votes and points out that more people have voted for him – more than 74 million people – than any US presidential candidate in history.
According to Biden, the Americans have given him a mandate to address the Corona virus pandemic, the struggling economy, climate change and systemic racism.

Responding to this victory, Biden admitted that he was very honored. “I am honored and humbled by the trust the American people have placed in me and Vice President-elect Harris,” Biden said in a statement, quoted by Fox News, on Saturday (11/7).
“In the face of unprecedented odds, large numbers of Americans voted. Proving once again that democracy beats deep in the heart of America,” he continued.
