WASHINGTON – Supporters of the president United States of America (AS) Donald trump some carrying firearms, held demonstrations in various states that are still counting votes.

The demonstrations were mostly peaceful, although Trump supporters occasionally yelled at supporters. Joe biden. Trump alleges the election is being stolen, but has no evidence of election fraud.

In Arizona, one of the most contested states in the Trump-Biden fight, their respective supporters have clashed outside of the Maricopa County Elections Department in Phoenix.

Several armed right-wing groups gathered at the scene as election officials counted votes inside the building. However, the protests remained largely peaceful despite escalating tensions. (Also read: Chaotic election, Maduro disdains the US)

Local election officials continued to tabulate ballots across the country, in some cases processing an unprecedented number of ballots. The number of ballots in the mail reached a record high as voters avoided queuing during the coronavirus pandemic. In Philadelphia, police said they arrested a person and seized a firearm he was carrying. The perpetrators are under investigation for plans to attack the city’s Pennsylvania Convention Center, which is the site of the vote count. The situation in Philadelphia saw pro-Trump and pro-Biden protesters separated by a portable barrier at waist height with police officers on guard in great numbers.
