Tottenham Hotspur is simply shining Premier league the start of the 2020/2021 season. They can temporarily top the rankings, what’s the secret?

Tottenham Hotspur have accumulated 21 points in 10 games so far. Harry Kanne et al while sitting on top Premier League standings, which is superior in goal difference for Liverpool in second place.

More recently, Tottenham Hotspur was able to cut current Chelsea on fire Sunday (11/29/2020) WIB night at Stamford Bridge. The two teams played with equal strength, until the final result of the series was 0-0.

Reporting from Sky sportsRoy Keane, a former Manchester United player, said Tottenham Hotspur deserved to be the champion’s favorite. According to him, the key for the Spurs to be able to go fast is discipline.

“The Spurs players did what José Mourinho wanted. They were very disciplined,” he said.

“That is typical of José Mourinho, the team is compact and disciplined,” continued Roy Keane.

Facing a team with good ball possession, José Mourinho will send his team to have defensive discipline. So, counting on the counterattack results from the opponent’s mistake.

It’s like what happened against Manchester City at the end of November. City was able to win 2-0.

“Mourinho demands tactical play. The Spurs did that,” Keane said.

Even so, the Premier League still has a long way to go. Points at the top of the rankings are adjusted. José Mourinho himself, did not want to talk much about the chances of winning and only focused on each game.

“The point difference in the current standings doesn’t mean much,” he said.
